Protecting our planet through measurable action and continuous improvement.
Our Environmental Commitment
We recognise that industrial operations have direct environmental impact — and we are committed to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.
Our approach covers waste management, resource conservation, pollution prevention, and regulatory compliance — currently structured around our journey toward ISO 14001:2015 certification (target Q4 2025).
2025 Environmental Summary
Our 2025 environmental metrics — electricity, water, and waste — measured and tracked across every site we operate.
Peak October at 44.86 MWh, with consumption growing from 28 to 44 MWh/month across the year.
Avg 839 m³/month, equivalent to 4 Olympic swimming pools. Peak December (895 m³) due to hydrotest activities.
46 items across 5 categories, 4 scheduled collections. SW104 (used lubricant oil) dominant at 96% of total.
Peak single collection 20 tonnes on 3 November 2025.
Environmental Initiatives
On 25 April 2026, RWNA's Corporate Social Responsibility programme — Waves Without Waste — brought together 60 participants including managers, staff, contract workers, and also subcontractors for a hands-on beach cleaning activity at Pantai Batu Hitam, Kuantan, Pahang. In just one hour, the team collected 311.65 kg of waste across 620 m² of coastline, leaving the beach visibly cleaner and reinforcing our commitment to environmental stewardship beyond the premise.
Other Initiatives
Dedicated sump pit infrastructure for water management — collects and settles water from industrial operations, preventing runoff and minimizing risk of environmental contamination.
Paper reuse stations by every printer; recycling of materials; reduction of waste at source; creative reuse of resources across all departments.
Intelligent lighting and power management systems with occupancy detection and ambient light sensing in meeting rooms; being expanded throughout facilities.
