  W3P Enclosure System (Habitat for Welding)

  RWNA's W3P Enclosure System is a SIRIM QAS internationally certified safety enclosure (also known as a welding habitat) for hot work, primarily welding. The system is designed to:

  • PROTECT: Confines flammable hot work residue for protection.
  • PREVENT: Isolates hot work area from hazardous environment to prevent explosion.
  • PRESSURIZE: Creates a positive pressure within the enclosure.

  W3P Enclosure System is light weight and made of fire retardant fabric which can withstand upto 550°re;C. The System also provides excellent resistance to oxidation, weathering and flexing. The enclosure comprises panels with sizes ranging from 1m x 1m and 1m x 2m that can be easily installed and dismantled through interchangeable zips. Specially designed panels include:

  1. Airlock door which prevent the ingress of hazardous substances upon entering and exiting.
  2. Modified panels to accommodate the working around of any obstruction.
  3. Emergency escape panel intended for easy evacuation in case of casualty or other emergency situations.

  On-Site Grinding & Lapping Machines for Safety Valves

  The grinding and lapping machine for stationary and on-site with excenter for the machining of sealing faces of safety valves. The machine has two separated drives, one drive operates the griding spindle, whereas the other drive provides the eccentic movement of the griding spindle. This produces a cross-hatched grinding pattern and a perfectly level sealing face.

  

  On-Site Special Tools for Grinding Conical Valve Seats

  Main used to repair tapered vavle seats in high-pressure shutoff and control valves. The seat face is machined using pieces of abrasive material that are fixed to cones. The pieces of material & the cones are secured to the tool holder using a clamping nut.

  DIAMOND WIRE SAW (DWS)

  • RWNA Subsea Diamond Wire Saw System has been specially designed to cut submerged pipes (horizontal and vertical), tubular structures and pipelines of varying materials and thickness. Operating on hydraulic power, it is remotely controlled using the Topside Control Panel including a hydraulic feed system. The cutting process can be monitored via a mounted camera.
  • What makes it so special is the wire cutting element infused with industrial diamonds, allowing it to cut pipes and structures quickly and efficiently compared to the conventional saw.

Environmental Commitment

To meet our environmental responsibilities, RWNA implements the following initiatives:

Recycling

We have installed 2 sets of recycling bins at the premise, which consists of bins for glass, plastic, paper and cans. All staff are encourage to recycle and minimize waste. Our common practice is to print on both sides of the paper to maximize its usage. Recycling wastes are sent to the recycling centres.

E-Printing

Scheduled Waste Management

Scheduled waste produced by our operation is managed according to standard and approved procedures.

Air Pollution Control System

We install a dust collector system to ensure that dust collected from our blasting operation is filtered and isolated from the environment. This ensures clean air emission into the environment, complying with the law and requirement.

Air emission monitoring conducted on 3rd May 2018 shows that the concentration of air impurities emitted from Chimney 1 COMPLIED with the limit as specified in the Environmental Quality (Clean Air) Regulations 2014. Regulation 13.
